Who is Maya Kramer?

Maya Kramer is a world renowned Aerial artist, Dancer, Choreographer and Teacher.

 

She has been performing internationally for over a decade for numerous distinguished companies both locally and internationally. Some of her credits include television shows So You Think You Can Dance- Israel, The Muppet show, The Voice, The Big Stage, The one that I want, Masters of Illusion and more. 

 Maya was part of creation and performed for the first Aerial act ever performed for The Radio city Rockettes Christmas spectacular in 2018-2020 in New York City. She performed in Cirque style shows “Voyage de la Vie”- Singapore and “Vienna Marrakesh”- Israel,  “Cats” the musical, “The Grammys” as well as other award shows, variety shows “Le grand Cirque” in Canada and the Philippines. The “WOW” show in Israel where she worked as a performer, aerial choreographer and dance captain. Special projects with Cirque du Soleil, She was also the aerial captain and performer for The mad tea party at Disney California adventure, worked with Dance and circus companies such as Quixotic and Cirque de la symphony, performed in front of multiple national presidets of several countries, and worked with modern dance companies, traditional and modern circus, opera, international music and circus festivals, grand scale events and the list goes on.

 

            Her career has spanned the globe performing teaching studying and choreographing in Europe, The US, Canada, The Middle East Africa and Asia.

 

     Maya has been teaching Master classes and workshops for Aerial instructors as well as aerial and dance classes in Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan, Nicaragua, Israel, Sweden, Italy, Mexico, The US and Canada

She also was teaching for Cirque du monde- by Cirque du Soleil 

As well as teaching workshops for USC Fullerton musical theater program, Dance Innovations for SCU summer arts program, and as a guest artist for Matan - israeli choreographer event. She also taught at the prestigious Artistan university in Gothenburg Sweden- for the highest acclaimed musical theater degree in Scandinavia for two years.

In the U.S she has taught regularly at Hollywood Aerial Arts, Cirque school LA, Aerial Warehouse, and Metamorphoses.

 

       She has been invited to judge several national Aerial championship contests in the U.S and Mexico

 

       Some of her choreography and coaching credits include choreographing the aerial acts for internationally acclaimed Japanese pop artist Ayumi Hamasaki grand arena tours “Feel the love”, “Cirque de Minute” and “Made in Japan”. “The Golden Galaxy Awards”, and major international sports events “Gothia Cup” and “Partille Cup” in Sweden, “American Idiot” the musical at the DOMA theater, “The Little Mermaid” at the Pasadena Ballet,

Most recently in 2020/2021 with the forced entertainment intermission caused by the Covid pandemic, Maya created her own show Cirque over the water, performed on a sail boat over the water in Long Beach and Newport beach, CA.

 

Maya says "I am passionate about creating, performing, teaching and sharing. Traveling around the world to find the most interesting new flavors and innovations, being able to translate and share them through dance, air and movement.”
